引用自 Dridge118:The learning curve in this game is like no other. and what happens in this game is what happens IRL bowling.Īs for batting. Don't time your leap - don't wait to feel the muscles across your shoulders and chest expand, let go to late or too early, don t stay upright?. Leap, time it, feel the pull across your chest and shoulders - release the ball while staying upright - that is what you do. This method of dual stick bowling FEELS like bowling (well an abstrct of bowling). This game is as well presented as EA's last effort (better IMO) way better than codemasters - but the winner is the control method. I now have to wonder in "Daily Mail" style "Why Oh Why Oh Why" did EA and Codemasters insist on their klutzy inept control methods year after year - iteration after iteration. tournamant maker would seem to mean the game could be played in any number of ways.

So much so that since posting yesterday I've bought the PS3 version - but will buy the PC version as well in 4 weeks.Ĭricket Revolution was a valiant effort about 2 years ago - but this is a fair bit better in gameplay and presentation. 引用自 RossAtBigAnt:Difficulty level selections will be included in Career mode along with other changes to make the game more accessible.Īll in all this game (by a long way) the best action/arcade cricket game I've ever played. You guys who can master it have a great time :) I'll wait for a specially adapted game for un-coordinated people to come out In this game, I get out about twice for every run I'd score. Thing is - I'm quite good at cricket IRL for my age (47) averaged close to 40 with the bat for my club last year - which isn't bad cosidering I'm a bowler. It's like patting your head, rubbing your stomach and blowing the pan pipes at the same time - for someone as klutzy as me anyway I just can't co-ordinate getting on the front or back foot, then the positional "footwork" with the same stick then moving the other stick in a different direction, to play a shot and timing all three things. Just too quick, I end up stabbing the left analog up and whacking the RAS and playing a front foot check drive to mid on no where near the ball. When I do hit it well I really don't know how I did it.

It probably isn't - but it's way too hard for me for me.Īlmost 8 hours altogether without really progressing much at all.
#CRICKET REVOLUTION GAMEPAD PRO#
Good - but no where near as hard as Pro batting. Bowled on my sons PS3 version of the game and that's really pretty simple. It's the only mode I'm really interested in playing. Really wanted to be able to play this, but after 2-3 hours Friday, half of Saturday and a final couple of hours today - in Pro difficulty (which again - before some of you say the obvious "why not lower the difficulty.) you HAVE TO USE in career mode)Ĭareer mode is the seller for me in this game - I buy MLB the SHow every year and Don't think I've ever spent more that 10 minutes playing any other game mode than RTTS - career mode is THE mode. Pro mode is the difficulty level that you HAVE TO USE for career and practiced for hours.

Me - the Pro practice mode has made the decision for me - this game (which I'd love to play) isn't for me. I'm just crap and old and some of you guys probably can kill the game. This will never be an easy job, given how the senior players will form the core of the team’s think-tank.Yes - I know - it's me not the game.

It’s now up to Dravid and his team management to take some tough calls with respect to some senior players. Given that these players are not going to get any younger, further questions will be raised if they can’t keep up their form. But of late, the returns for some of them have dropped and even see their places in the side (in some formats) questioned. Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Cheteshwar Pujara, and Ajinkya Rahane have been an integral part of the Indian batting setup for much of the past decade – all of them are now well into their 30s. Besides, while India have a battery of fast bowlers lining up, they need to make the best use of the talent at their disposal.ĭravid will have to figure out the best possible combinations which can work for India across formats, while trying to introduce some new ideas, perhaps a rotation policy for quicks. Their new-look ODI line-up too needs a bit of fine-tuning, while the form of certain Test batters hasn’t been the best. There were questions around India’s lack of clarity with respect to their side’s combination and player positions during the T20 World Cup.
